Jack Nelson, DMD

Dr. Nelson is passionate about combining the science and artistry of dentistry to help patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. He enjoys building meaningful relationships with patients while providing personalized care focused on education, comfort, and trust. As a new dentist entering the profession, Dr. Nelson is excited to bring a fresh perspective, modern techniques, and a patient-centered approach to every visit.

The Professional Side

Originally born in Anaheim, California, and raised in Vancouver, Washington, Dr. Nelson completed his undergraduate education at Brigham Young University–Idaho before earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University–Arizona. He is also a member of the American Dental Association.

Dr. Nelson was drawn to dentistry because he appreciated the unique balance between science, creativity, and human connection that the profession offers. He values the opportunity to meet patients from all walks of life and enjoys helping them improve both their oral health and confidence.

His philosophy on patient care centers around education and communication. Dr. Nelson believes patients should fully understand their oral health and available treatment options so they can make informed decisions that best fit their goals and lifestyle. He prioritizes listening carefully to patients, ensuring they feel heard, respected, and comfortable throughout their visit.

Using modern dental techniques and a personalized approach, Dr. Nelson works to create positive experiences that help patients feel more confident about visiting the dentist and maintaining long-term oral health.

The Personal Side

Outside the office, Dr. Nelson enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors through skiing, camping, running, and playing soccer. He also loves learning new things and exploring different cultures and experiences.

One of the most meaningful experiences in Dr. Nelson’s life was serving a two-year service mission in Norway, where he developed a greater appreciation for people, culture, and communication. He is also a fan of Indian food, enjoys listening to Young the Giant, and appreciates opportunities to continue learning both personally and professionally.
