The Professional Side

Originally born in Ogden, Utah, and raised in Layton, Dr. Flitton earned his undergraduate education at Weber State University before completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. He pursued dentistry because he wanted a career that combined helping people, performing surgical procedures, and building meaningful patient relationships while operating his own practice.

Dr. Flitton believes strongly in partnering with patients throughout their oral health journey. He values open communication, patient education, and personalized treatment planning so every patient feels informed and comfortable with their care decisions. He also prioritizes continuing education and advanced technology to provide the highest quality dental treatments possible.

To help patients feel relaxed during treatment, Dr. Flitton offers multiple comfort-focused options, including nitrous oxide, oral sedation, IV sedation, cozy blankets, and entertainment during procedures. His goal is always to create a smooth, stress-free experience with no surprises.

Snow skiing is one of Dr. Flitton’s biggest passions, and he is also a major fan of live music, especially 90’s alternative and rock. When he’s not at the office or outdoors, you can often find him listening to podcasts and audiobooks covering everything from personal development to innovations in science, technology, and health. He’s also a devoted Atlanta Braves fan and enjoys keeping up with baseball whenever he can.
