Dr. Jeffrey V. Hansen has spent nearly three decades helping patients achieve healthier smiles through compassionate care, strong patient relationships, and modern dental technology. Known for his friendly personality and approachable style, Dr. Hansen believes dental visits should feel comfortable, positive, and even enjoyable. He sees patients at Basin Dental’s Syracuse location, where he provides high-quality dental care in a welcoming, patient-focused environment.

The Professional Side

Born and raised in Bountiful, Utah, Dr. Hansen earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Utah before completing his dental degree at Creighton University School of Dentistry. With 28 years of experience in dentistry, he continues to enjoy meeting new people and helping patients improve both their oral health and confidence.

Dr. Hansen’s philosophy on patient care centers around creating genuine relationships and helping patients feel relaxed throughout treatment. He believes every patient deserves to feel heard, informed, and comfortable during their visit. Alongside the Basin Dental team, he works hard to make appointments stress-free by clearly explaining procedures, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and offering nitrous oxide for patients who experience dental anxiety.

In addition to general dentistry, Dr. Hansen specializes in restorative dentistry, including same-day crowns and fillings. Using modern dental technology and efficient treatment techniques, he provides personalized care designed around each patient’s needs and goals.

The Personal Side

Outside the office, Dr. Hansen enjoys staying active through running and tennis and is a longtime University of Utah football fan. He also loves spending time with his wife, Julie, and their four children.

One fun fact patients may not expect is Dr. Hansen’s love for the Food Network and trying new foods whenever he has the opportunity. His easygoing personality, sense of humor, and caring approach help patients feel comfortable and welcomed from the moment they walk through the door.
